  • As you progress… you get to learn how one can use the power of music to persuade. And those who are good use the Arousal Theory and the Musical Association Theory.
  • Also know the usage of Shock Tactics, Word Hypnosis, the Power of the In-Group.
  • Competition Priming – one of the common tactics that many online marketers are using in their sales copy to get you buy their products over and over again
  • And the usage of Escalation and Catastraphization – these are known as “Scare Tactics” and commonly used. Can you spot them in those widely promoted sales copy?

Personal Opinion:

Reading the 65 pages can be a bit dry for most people as it’s mainly theoretical. But if you are interested to know how copywriters use the element of persuasion in their sales copy, you will get the answers from Volume One.

Areas of application:

  • Inject these elements into your sales copy to “persuade” your prospects to make the purchase knowing that your product is good for them!
  • Make your blogging more convincing with persuasive elements. You will attract more readers coming back to read up on your blog posts.

Do note that you may have to read up a few times on Volume One to capture the key pointers. Therefore get a notepad and jot them down. A few reads will keep giving you more pointers. Trust me!

In Volume Two:

  • Actual Application of Persuasive elements into your Online Marketing efforts like for e.g. many people simply send traffic to their affiliate link either through Adwords, Media Buys, Article Marketing or other traffic methods but what they fail to take into consideration here is the frame of mind of the prospect! Personal Opinion:

If you have been using marketing efforts like Adwords, Pre-sell, Landing Pages or Opt-in pages but merely just by doing it up or out-sourcing – You can start to have some personal responsibility in making sure that all your above efforts are persuasive enough to your Prospects.

The first half of the Volume Two are very refreshing and would bring you some good perspective on what to expect in the above areas. The second half may be a bit dry especially since most online marketing products have already touched on getting into the perfect niche and the pointers to note for getting the best keywords to go along.

Areas Of Application:

  • Persuasive elements in your Pre-sell, Adwords, Landing Pages and Opt-in Pages
  • Doing a better job in creating articles and achieving results in Article Marketing

Overall Opinions:

Project Covert Persuasion is one of its kind to exist in the online marketing scene. You can only expect such information to appear in physical books (but dealing with Persuasion in its natural form). With Project Covert Persuasion, it has the combination of both – Persuasion in its natural form and Applying Persuasion In Internet Marketing.

You may find a few sections to be a bit dry. But do take my advice to read through a few times and you will find that there are good pointers to take note of.
